I am a graduate of Olive Branch. I went to Northwest Mississippi Community College and then Mississippi State University. I majored in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology.  I was at Overpark Elementary School for a year and a half as the computer activity teacher. Once obtaining my teaching license, I transferred to Horn Lake High School as a Special Education Inclusion Instructor. I served as the MET Chair for 11 years. My motto is every student has an obstacle to overcome. Students with special needs are my passion. I encourage them to find ways to overcome their obstacles so that they can become successful. I am excited for this new chapter in my life as an assistant principal at Olive Branch Elementary. I believe if we encourage them and give them a desire for knowledge at the foundational level of their education, they will become lifelong learners.
