All About Me

I am so thrilled to be at OBE! I am married to Lawrence Hunt & we have two precious boys Hudson(6) and John Ellis(8) and I am so blessed that my children get to go to school with me everyday! I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, and crafting.

Education & Experience

I am born and raised here in DeSoto County.  I completed my Master's Degree for Elementary Education at the University of Mississippi "Hotty Toddy"! This is my 15th year as a teacher.  I taught 4K preschool at Willie Price University Nursery School on the Ole Miss campus for 7 years.  I taught first grade for 5 years, one year at Coldwater Elementary and four years at Southaven Elementary.  I took off 3 years to stay at home with my children and this is my third year at OBE.  I have always wanted to teach Kindergarten and I absolutely LOVE IT, truly the perfect fit for me!

We are so lucky to have Mrs. Chermel as the Teacher Assistant in our classroom, she also has two children attending Olive Branch schools.  I am so thankful for the teamwork we put in everyday in ROOM 23 to help all of our students reach their goals.❤
